Handrails

A timber handrail adds warmth and class to any staircase and can be incorporated in any balustrade design ie. wrought iron, aluminium and glass balustrades.

When a staircase has been designed without any balustrading a wall mounted timber handrail is required.

We install timber handrails daily at Custom Timber Works and we have over 20 handrail profiles that can be supplied in a range of timber species straight or curved.

When a wall mounted timber handrail is required, we have a number of wall brackets available in stainless steel, brushed stainless steel, matt black, white, bright brass and antique brass. Another option is to include LED strip lighting to your wall mounted handrail which Custom Timber Works can incorporate into any handrail profile. LED strip lighting has become increasingly popular over the last few years and our team has installed numerous timber handrails with LED strip lighting. This has given us plenty of knowledge and experience in the manufacture and installation.
